Privacy policy
Last updated 14 October 2026.
Smart Brand Page (“the app”) is run by Appcreador (“we”). It adds a Brands page to Shopify stores. This policy explains what information the app uses, where it's kept, and how to reach us.
What the app can see in your store
When you install the app, you allow it to:
- read your products, to list the vendors (brands) on your Brands page;
- add files, to upload brand logos into your Files, and remove logos it uploaded that are no longer used;
- read your themes, to check whether the Brands block is added;
- read and change online store pages, to create the Brands page and set its address and search listing.
The app doesn't access your customers, orders or payment details, and doesn't change your theme.
What we keep, and where
On our servers we keep, for each store that installed the app:
- the store's Shopify address (such as example.myshopify.com);
- the access token Shopify issues, which lets the app act for the store, and what it was granted;
- the date the store first installed the app.
Everything you set up in the app stays in your own Shopify store, not with us: brand names, links, hidden and featured brands are saved as the app's data in your store, logos in your Files, and the page and its search listing as a normal page.
Your customers
The app collects no information about your customers. Shopify shows the Brands page from your store's own data: your visitors' browsers don't contact our servers, and the page sets no cookies and does no tracking.
Logs and error reports
Our servers keep logs of what the app does, with the store's address, the time and technical details, to run the app and fix problems. When something goes wrong, an error report with the same details goes to our error tracker. Neither includes the content of your requests or your customers' information. Logs and error reports are kept for a limited time and then deleted.
Your plan
You choose and pay for your plan through Shopify, on your Shopify bill: we never see your payment details. To know whether your store has a plan, the app asks Shopify, giving your store's Shopify ID, and keeps the answer only briefly. It also saves whether you have a plan as the app's data in your store, so your Brands page knows whether to show the brand list.
Who else handles this information
We don't sell or share it. Our hosting and database providers store it for us, and our error tracker (Sentry) receives error reports, each under their own data protection terms.
When you uninstall
Shopify removes the app's data from your store when you uninstall. 48 hours later Shopify asks us to delete what we keep for your store, and we delete it: the access token and the install date. The Brands page and the logos in your Files stay in your store until you delete them.
Your rights
You can ask what we keep about your store, or ask us to delete it, by writing to info@appcreador.com. If you're in the EU or UK, you can also complain to your data protection authority.
Changes
If this policy changes, we update it here and change the date at the top.
